Home/About Us
Two local organizations, one committee, and a weekend when it all comes together.
Who We Are
CONAKO27 is being jointly organized by JCI Fribourg and JCI Sense-See. One French-speaking and one German-speaking local organization, one canton, one event. That’s exactly what the theme “Moitié-Moitié” is all about.
The organizing committee has been working on this since 2025, divided into departments and operating exclusively on a volunteer basis, alongside their jobs and family lives. It is supported by additional members from both chambers, who serve on committees or lend a hand themselves on weekends.
The Hostesses
Both are members of JCI Switzerland, the Swiss chapter of Junior Chamber International, and both are dedicated to the development of young people and their region.
The French-speaking Chamber of the City and the Saane District. It carries out projects in the region, provides continuing education for its members, and brings together people who want to make a difference.

The German-speaking Chamber of the Sense and Seebezirk. Its mission, in its own words: to foster the development of young people and the region in the Sense and Seebezirk.

In addition to the committee, members of both chambers serve on various commissions, covering everything from communications and the program to logistics. During the convention weekend itself, numerous volunteers are also on hand to help. If you'd like to get involved, Get in touch with us.
