The Forum Fribourg in Granges-Paccot, and five ways to get there.
The Venue
CONAKO27 will take place at Forum Fribourg, the convention and recreation center in Granges-Paccot on the outskirts of Fribourg. Everything under one roof: the General Assembly, training sessions, the trade show, and the gala evening.

Getting There
Freiburg is located along the route between Bern and Lausanne. You can reach the conference venue from anywhere in Switzerland in just over two hours.
The Fribourg/Freiburg train station is about 20 minutes from Bern and about 80 minutes from both Geneva and Zurich.
On weekdays, the bus runs every 7 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the evening and on Sundays. The last bus leaves the Forum at 11:33 p.m.
The forum is located about 300 meters from the Fribourg Nord exit on the A12. Signs lead directly to the site.
The clearance height in the covered area is 2.20 meters.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the Fribourg-Poya train station, and a good half hour from the main train station along Route de Morat.
Bicycle parking is available at the entrance. If you're coming by bike from the surrounding area, follow the signs toward Granges-Paccot.
Geneva and Zurich are the nearest international airports. From either one, you can reach Freiburg by train in about one and a half to two hours, usually with one transfer.
For international visitors: You can purchase train tickets right at the airport; trains depart from the station located beneath the terminal.
Many local organizations travel together, either by train or by carpool. It's cheaper, more enjoyable, and the best way to start the weekend.
Talk to your executive board or communications team. If you're looking for or offering a ride, you can usually find someone quickly in the zone chats.
If possible, please use public transportation. During the conference weekend, another event is taking place at the same time at Forum Fribourg, so parking spaces will be in high demand. And after the gala evening on Saturday, the bus is the better choice anyway.
All schedule information is provided by Forum Fribourg, as of September 2026. Please check the current connections before your trip at sbb.ch or at the Fribourg Public Transportation.
On-site
The Forum Fribourg brings together conference rooms, exhibition halls, and dining options all in one place. Short distances between program events mean no need to travel between locations.
The building is wheelchair accessible, and parking spaces are available for people with limited mobility. If you have any special needs, please contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
